| H.O.T.S. Glass Studio Classes Shelburne Falls Studio Flowers! Inside and Out. Intermediate Borosilicate flameworking class. This is a full day class beginning with the art of making 3-D sculptural flowers. Covering canes, coloring and connecting multiple pieces into an intricate flower. Second half of the day we will be going over the concepts and techniques used in creating a flower on the inside of a clear magnifying lens of glass that can be used as a pendant, marble or small paperweight. Limit 5 students $185 Sat. Sept 3, 10 – 5 Teen Bead Making Class (6 week session) Wednesdays 6 - 9 Starting September 14 Teacher Joanne Soroka $380 Curiosity class For a taste of flameworking. Not sure if you want to take a longer more in depth class until you try it out. This is a basic overview of flameworking and beadmaking. Saturday September 17 $100 Beginner Bead Making class. Beads, Beads, Beads: Ever want to know how to make beautiful colorful beads out of glass that you can use in your own jewelry and designs? Well, this very fun class with Joanne Soroka will show students the fundamentals of making beads from all sizes and the endless possibilities of coloring and decorating with the use of stringers, frit, powders and more! This is a softglass or morretti class. Limit to 5 students.
